Prior to joining Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus, Mr. Folkenberg served as Chief Operating Officer at Porter Adventist Hospital from 2009 through 2012. He has been with Centura Health since 2005. He began with the corporate Revenue Management division and later transitioned to St. Anthony Central Hospital, where he held the position of Vice President Operations and Chief Business Officer.
Mr. Folkenberg's main responsibilities will be split between maintaining departments currently open and serving patients, in addition to preparing for the hospital's 2013 completion date. Previously, Mr. Folkenberg had an integral role in the planning and development of St. Anthony Central Hospital's new Lakewood, CO, medical campus, as well as development of its new service line structure and operational oversight for several key services.
Prior to Centura Health, Mr. Folkenberg worked in various business development and operations improvement roles at Duke University Medical Center. He also co-founded a consulting firm focusing on physician performance and strategic alignment of hospital-employed physician practices. Mr. Folkenberg graduated from Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in Long-Term Health Care and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He went on to obtain his Master's in Health Services Administration from George Washington University.
Welcome Mr. Jeremy Pittman to the Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus! He begins serving as our CFO in January, helping to ensure the financial success of the hospital and building relationships with physicians.
Jeremy has worked for Centura for almost eight years, previously serving as the Controller (or head accountant) for all four Adventist hospitals in the Denver metro area. He also put his stamp on Littleton Adventist Hospital where he served as Director of Finance and business manager for Surgical Services.
His office will officially move onto the Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus in March, and he is most excited to provide health care services in a community that previously did not offer them. The best part of his job is the people that he works with - the current team members and the new ones who arrive almost daily.
Jeremy would like the residents of Castle Rock to know that the hospital will offer them a whole system of care, and that there will be very little reason to visit Denver for medical tests and procedures, "Small communities like ours don't always have the benefit of full-service medical care but we're lucky to work with the residents of Castle Rock who are very excited to have a hospital in their community to support," he noted.
He would like to focus on community wellness, and funding programs that will educate the public about a balanced, healthy lifestyle. They have created a support and outreach system for hospital employees and community members which will only continue to grow as the hospital nears completion.
Jeremy was born and raised in Colorado, where he attended Denver's Mile High Academy. He is married with a four-year-old son and an 18-month-old daughter. He enjoys visiting his family cabin in Grand Lake, snowmobiling, hiking, dirt biking, and all kinds of mountain fun. He is currently training for the Spring 2013 Colfax Marathon, his first.
Lisa Hinton joined Castle Rock
Adventist Hospital in November 2015 as Director of Business Development.
Prior coming to CRAH, Lisa worked for HealthSouth corporation for 15 years in
California and Colorado as Director of Business Development/Marketing Operations
and Director of Therapy Operations. Lisa holds a Masters of Speech
Language Pathology from University of Nebraska - Lincoln and a Bachelor’s
Degree from North Dakota. She lives in Castle Rock and enjoys
spending time with friends and family. She is the mother of two young
From 1999 through 2003, as a Major in the United States Air Force Dr. Bateman served as an Emergency Physician, Medical Disaster Chief and Team Chief for the Critical Care Mobility Team.
Dr. Bateman is a member of the American Medical Association, the Colorado Medical Society and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Bateman holds certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, the Colorado Board of Medicine and the DEA.
Dr. Bateman holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, in biochemistry and cell biology and a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia before serving as the University's Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine.
