CT (computerized tomography) scans are non-invasive, painless and their cross-sectional imagery provides greater clarity than traditional one-dimensional X-rays.
Once primarily used to visualize the brain, the use of CT has expanded to include looking at injuries like complex fractures (especially around joints) and images of the abdomen and lungs. Our 20-slice unit features outstanding image quality and is considered a low dose (radiation) CT.
A CT requires a physician referral. We welcome physician referrals and pride ourselves on prompt follow-up with our physician partners. Appointments are available Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
